Life Cycles

All living things grow and change in their lifetimes. Every plant and every animal goes through a life cycle in which it starts its life, develops into an adult, and dies. The different stages of a life cycle are defined by how the physical appearance of an organism changes. Some animals have many shared features between their juveniles and adult stages. While there are differences, it does not compare to the drastic changes that occur for other animals that experience metamorphosis – in which some grow extra limbs!
