Interested in having your students connect directly with Zoo experts? Have them submit their questions to Science@PhillyZoo! This service allows students to submit any science- or animal-related questions to us, and one of our experts will get back to them within 24 business hours. Students can submit any question they might be curious about (or get a little help on their homework!)

*Wild Connections are no longer available for the remainder of the 2021-2022 School Year*
Wild Connections is a live virtual lesson with a Zoo educator and animal guests targeted for K-4 audiences. These webinar format lessons invite numerous students and classes (even from different schools!) to a 45-minute storytelling session all about amazing animals! Webinars are held at set times monthly and topics range from month to month. Alternative virtual programs may be available for schools within Philadelphia. |

Philly Zoo @ 2 are previously live videos that focus on a different animal or area of the Zoo. We filmed over 100 episodes and all past episodes of Zoo @ 2 are collected on our website for viewing. These videos are a great way to engage your students with fun and unexpected education! Many educators have combined these videos with activities to mimic a trip throughout the Zoo. A map can be accessed here if you'd like to reference it to plan out the order of materials.

In addition to the resources provided on this website, we have additional activities that your students can complete at home. Many of these activities were designed to be done together with their families, and do not require many additional materials. They are curriculum-based and are a great way to supplement your students' Philly Zoo experience!
